Frequently asked questions
What do I actually get?
A website under your own name where a guest finds what they came for: what you do, when you are open, how to request a table or an appointment. Plus a way to change all of it by message, without logging in anywhere.
Who owns the domain?
You do. We register it in your name and with your details, and the contract runs between you and an accredited registrar. We arrange it and run the technical side. If you cancel, you get the auth code and take the domain with you, even if an invoice is still open.
I already have a website. Do I have to move?
No. If you have a domain you keep it and skip the domain service. We either give you two values to enter at your current provider, or we take over the technical management if you prefer. We never ask for your passwords.
Do I need WhatsApp?
No. In the US you can just text us at your Vestamedia number, the same way you would text a colleague. WhatsApp works too if you already use it.
Do I have to confirm every post?
No. Posts and changes to your website go live automatically, so there is nothing to keep track of. You see every post in the chat. Don't like one? Say so and we change it or take it down. Only the very first time does your website wait for a "yes" from you in the chat.
How does a table request work?
The guest fills in a short form on your site. You get a message with the date, time and party size, and you reply YES or NO. Our system never promises anything you did not confirm.
What happens when I am fully booked?
Guests can join the waitlist. When a cancellation frees up a spot, the first people on the list automatically get a text with a link. First to click gets the spot. You do nothing, and you are notified as soon as the table is taken again.
What does Vestamedia cost?
Two plans: Social at $100 per month (social media on autopilot) and Complete at $399 per month (website, booking, waitlist, guest messages and social together), plus applicable sales tax. 7 days free, yearly plans save 17%. The domain service is $29 per year.
How do I connect TikTok?
You connect Instagram, Facebook and Google Business once through their official sign-in pages, no app needed. TikTok requires an app on your phone for this: the Vesta app. We walk you through it in the chat.
Do I have to log in anywhere?
Not for day to day work. Anything you do regularly happens by message. Anything you only need to look at, like the preview of your site, we send you as a link. For billing you get a link that takes you straight in without a password.
When can I start?
The website, booking and waitlist features are built and running in pilot. We open sales as soon as the last formalities are done. That is why this page still shows a waitlist instead of a buy button. Sign up and we will reach out to the waitlist first.
How does the free trial work?
Once we are selling: you sign up with a card and use Vestamedia free for seven days. Nothing is charged during those seven days. You can cancel anytime in your account with one click, effective at the end of the current billing period. If you cancel during the trial, nothing is charged.
Any minimum commitment?
No. You can cancel anytime in your account with one click, effective at the end of the current billing period. Yearly plans save 17%. Yearly plans renew unless you cancel at least 30 days before they end.
Where is my data stored?
Your content, chat history and your guests' requests sit on servers in the EU and are encrypted at rest. For sending messages and publishing we work with providers we name individually in the privacy notice. You can download your data in your account anytime and request deletion there with one click. We never see your payment data, that is handled by Stripe. A data processing agreement is available on request.
